This week I began by researching into the visual style of effective data visualisation apps as well as the aesthetic which tinder employs as I want the tool I create to be an extension of this and therefore be visually similar. As this is an extension for tinder, I wanted to make sure I used the correct colour palette throughout this design, in order to make it aesthetically cohesive.  Through initial prototyping and user testing hi-fi wireframes on friends and flatmates, I also gained a sense of things they wish they could filter their matches out by, like eliminating anyone with the same name as an ex or family member. As well as the removing all matches with the dreaded hunting and fishing photos.   The feedback from this initial mockup, was that they really liked the colour palette and the clean corporate style design, but that they felt the graphs as they are weren't enough to engage and sustain interest.
